Owner / Occupational Therapist
Jessica Carter OTR/L
This is Jessica Carter, the owner of SPOT Therapy. She gained her Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in 2019, and studied pediatrics at the John Hopkins All Children's Hospital and Clinic before moving back to her home town on the coast. Jessica is a specialized Feeding Therapist through the SOS approach, Certified Infant Massage Coach, Certified in the evaluation and treatment of Torticollis, and has a passion for helping children gain independence and joy in their daily activities and routines. She enjoys playing tennis, painting, spending time with her two beautiful children and husband, and loves her two dogs Elle Woods and Ali May.

Bryan Fox
Mr. Bryan is part of our wonderful office staff that is here to answer your questions and concerns about scheduling, insurance, and referral needs. Bryan was born and raised in Ocean Springs and served our country in the Army National Guard for 9 years. Bryan loves spending time with his family, and camping and hiking in his free time. Bryan is here to serve you and your family to ensure you are able to access essential services for your child.

Lead Speech Language Pathologist
Tessa Steele M.S., CCC-SLP
Meet Tessa Steele, our Lead SLP. She earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Mississippi. Tessa is from the Gulf Coast and returned home after her studies to service families on the coast. Tessa has a passion for working with children to gain communication, feeding, and oral motor independence. She is an SOS Trained Feeding Therapist, with further training in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention and adult VitalStim. Tessa enjoys working with children of varying diagnoses and strives to provide quality and family centered services.

Lead Occupational Therapist
Taylor Lee, OTR/L, ASDCS, CFVRS, CPRCS
Meet Taylor Lee, our lead OT! Taylor graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018. As an occupational therapist, Taylor strives to take a holistic approach to the evaluation and treatment of each child. Taylor has completed continuing education coursework in the areas of primitive reflex integration, functional vision, and autism spectrum disorders to earn CPRCS, CFVRS, and ASDCS certifications. Taylor has received training in feeding intervention through Feed the Peds.
Outside of the office, you can find Taylor spending time with her family, cheering on her kids at baseball and dance, exploring a creative outlet, or curling up with her cat for a rest break.

Grace Lindsey COTA
Meet Grace Lindsey, a certified occupational therapy assistant at SPOT Therapy. Grace gained her Associates of Applied Science degree from Pearl River Community College. Soon into her career, Grace realized the unwavering passion she held for the pediatric population. With her special interests in sensory integration and music therapy, Grace strives to provide quality and unique therapy to each patient.

Carly Vice
Meet Carly Vice! She graduated from LSU Health Shreveport with a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2020. She has worked with adults and pediatrics in multiple settings with various diagnoses which has helped shape her into the therapist she is today! She feels extremely blessed to work in the area of pediatrics here at Spot Therapy. She looks forward to supporting kids and their families as they work towards their goals to participate in daily life activities, play, and school.
Outside of work, you’ll find Carly with her family and friends, shopping, traveling, or having a relaxing day at home. Although she stays busy, her most cherished time is with her husband and baby girl who was born in July of 2025.

Suzanne Barone M.S. SLP
Meet Suzie Luffey, a Speech-Language Pathologist here at SPOT Therapy with a love for helping kiddos of all ages reach their communication goals! Suzie graduated from LSU (geaux tigers!) with an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and received her Master’s in Communication Disorders from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
Suzie has a passion for meeting children where they are, and using a strengths-based approach to provide the tools for children and their families to thrive! She has a background working with a diverse pediatric population throughout her career. Suzie has specific interests in working with children with developmental speech and language delays, autism, and AAC.
When she’s not at SPOT, you can find Suzie spending time with family, shopping, trying new recipes, and preparing to welcome her first baby in February!

Madison Hudson, M.S. CCC-SLP
Meet Madison Hudson! She earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Mississippi. She has pediatric experience from the schools here on the Gulf Coast. Madison is passionate about working with children and their families to help her patients obtain communication, feeding, and oral motor independence. She is a Feed the Ped’s trained feeding therapist. Madison is dedicated to providing quality, family centered services.

Jalen Jefferson SLPA
Meet Jalen Jefferson, our dedicated SLPA! Jalen earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2022 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Jacksonville University. She is passionate about supporting children in developing strong communication, language, and early feeding skills through evidence-based and child-centered therapy. Jalen has experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, and feeding challenges. She enjoys targeting goals through play-based, functional activities that keep children engaged and motivated. Jalen is committed to creating a warm, engaging therapeutic environment where each child feels supported, confident, and capable of reaching their fullest potential.

Elizabeth McCaffrey COTA
Meet Elizabeth “Liz” McCaffrey, a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant here at SPOT Therapy with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive. Before earning her degree from Pearl River Community College in 2018, she spent many years working in a variety of school-based and medical settings, which helped shape her love for helping others live their best life.
Since graduating, Liz has worked across several occupational therapy environments, including providing school-based services. Liz is dedicated to creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere and making each session engaging, purposeful, and fun.
Outside of work, you’ll often find her spending time with her grandkids, working in her yard or volunteering with a local non-profit focused on children’s education.

Erika, our dedicated Office Manager, brings a sunny disposition and a wealth of experience to our team. Born and raised in the vibrant state of Florida, Erika now calls the beautiful Gulf Coast home, where she resides with her loving family. When she's not hard at work, you can find her exploring downtown, soaking up the sun on the beach, or whipping up delicious meals in the kitchen.
With over 9 years of experience in sales and administrative roles, Erika is a skilled professional who excels at managing our office operations. Her passion for children and families shines through in her interactions with our patients and their loved ones. She is committed to providing top-notch services to the Gulf Coast community and always approaches her work with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Morgan Zelenka, OT
Meet Morgan Zelenka! Morgan is an occupational therapist who graduated with her master’s degree from the University of South Alabama in 2019. She is passionate about helping children grow, become more independent, and gain the skills they need for everyday life. She strives to make therapy a positive experience for both children and their families.
In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband, Reid, and her two children, Collins and Teddy.
