Owner / Occupational Therapist
Jessica Carter OTR/L
This is Jessica Carter, the owner of SPOT Therapy. She gained her Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine in 2019, and studied pediatrics at the John Hopkins All Children's Hospital and Clinic before moving back to her home town on the coast. Jessica is a specialized feeding therapist through the SOS approach, infant massage couch, evaluation and treatment of torticollis certified, and has a passion for helping children gain independence and joy in their daily activities and routines. She enjoys playing tennis and golf, spending time with her two beautiful children and husband, and loves her two dogs Elle Woods and Ali May.

Bryan Fox
Mr. Bryan is part of our wonderful office staff that is here to answer your questions and concerns about scheduling, insurance, and referral needs. Bryan was born and raised in Ocean Springs and served our country in the Army National Guard for 9 years. Bryan loves spending time with his family, and camping and hiking in his free time. Bryan is here to serve you and your family to ensure you are able to access essential services for your child. Bryan enjoys camping and hiking, and spending time with his family on the water!
Lead Speech Language Pathologist
Tessa Steele M.S., CCC-SLP
Meet Tessa Steele, our Lead SLP. She earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Mississippi. Tessa is from the Gulf Coast and returned home after her studies to service families on the coast. Tessa has a passion for working with children to gain communication, feeding, and oral motor independence. She is an SOS Trained Feeding Therapist, with further training in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention and adult VitalStim. Tessa enjoys working with children of varying diagnoses and strives to provide quality and family centered services.
Lead Occupational Therapist
Taylor Lee, OTR/L, CPRCS, ASDCS
Taylor graduated with her master of occupational therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2018. Taylor has special interests in autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing, primitive reflex integration, and ADHD. She has completed coursework in these areas to obtain her CPRCS and ASDCS certifications. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her own two children, Jackson and Madilyn, and her husband, Tanner. She enjoys a quiet getaway, a good cup of coffee, and a creative outlet.

Grace Lindsey COTA
Meet Grace Lindsey, a certified occupational therapy assistant at SPOT Therapy. Grace gained her Associates of Applied Science degree from Pearl River Community College. Soon into her career, Grace realized the unwavering passion she held for the pediatric population. With her special interests in sensory integration and music therapy, Grace strives to provide quality and unique therapy to each patient.

Katelynn Thompson OTR/L
Katelynn received her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Ithaca College in 2019. She has 5 years of pediatric experience in schools and outpatient pediatric clinics across New York and North Carolina, and she moved to the gulf coast in June 2023. Katelynn uses holistic approaches to assist children and their families, and is skilled at implementing sensory integration and reflex integration techniques to help children fully participate in their everyday activities.

Lauren Hoffman OTD
Lauren is a doctorally trained occupational therapist with over seventeen years of experience working with children. Lauren has experience supporting children and their families in nationally ranked children's hospitals, schools, clinics, and their homes. Lauren enjoys teaching and research and works part time as an adjunct professor of occupational therapy. Lauren is originally from the Gulf Coast and recently moved back to the area. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys running, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. Lauren's favorite part of being an occupational therapist is that she gets to be creative at work every day and "play" at work!

Madison Hudson, M.S. CCC-SLP
Meet Madison Hudson! She earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Mississippi. She has pediatric experience from the schools here on the Gulf Coast. Madison is passionate about working with children and their families to help her patients obtain communication, feeding, and oral motor independence. She is a Feed the Ped’s trained feeding therapist. Madison is dedicated to providing quality, family centered services.

Caitlyn Barnes M.S., CCC-SLP
Meet Caitlyn Barnes, a certified speech-language pathologist at SPOT Therapy. Caitlyn earned her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. She moved to the Gulf Coast in July 2021 and has enjoyed working with children and families in the community. Caitlyn is dedicated to helping children obtain communication, feeding, and oral motor skills and is passionate about culturally competent, quality care. She plans to continue specializing in feeding but has frequently worked with autistic and bilingual/multicultural families.
